| Abstract: | In this paper the geomorphological features of the Abbadia di Fiastra district are discussed; for the same area a detailed geomorphological map at 1: 10.000 scale has been prepared, following a method which brings in particular evidence the morphometric features of the landscape. The studied area, mainly hilly, is located at the confluence of the Fiastra stream with the Chieuti River and is modeled in marine pelitic and arenaceous sediments of Pliocenic age. Quaternary alluvial terraces and eluvial and colluvial covers are widespread in the area. |
