CARTA GEOMORFOLOGICA DELL'AREA COMPRESA TRA S. GINESIO E COLMURANO (MARCHE CENTRO-MERIDIONALE)

Abstract

This brief report constitutes the explanation of a detailed geomorphological map (aimed to applicative purposes) of a hilly area of the Marches (Centrai ltaly). This area is mo­deled on the arenaceous-pelitic and pelitic-arenaceous layers (alternating to each other) of the Laga Formation, those lat­ter are characterized by sub-horizontal or modestely wavvy dispositions. In the paper the main features of the area are sketched and main geological and geomorphological characteristics are described; particular care was devoted to active morphogen­esis and to its leading factors.
