RIMODELLAMENTI GRAVITATIVI DEL TRATTO DI ANTICLINORIO MARCHIGIANO COMPRESO TRA I FIUMI CHIENTI E FIASTRONE

Abstract

In the present paper the quaternary geomorphological evolution of the portion of the Marche anticlinorium included between the Chienti and Fiastrone rivers (central-southern Marche) is discussed. Detailed geomorphological pointed out landforms and structural conditions whose correlation can not be fully ex­plained basing only on the "classica!" scheme of tectonic evo­lution. Therefore, an evolution model is proposed, in wich gravitational factor plays a non-secondary role.
