| Abstract: | The construction of a 1:25,000 scale geologie map and sequential balancing of three cross-sections parallel to the transport direction, al!owed us to define the tectonic and sedimentary evolution the Frasassi area. First, the outcrop pattern of the Jurassic-"middle" Cretaceous successions and the synsedimentary structures, producing facies and thickness variations, have been defined.
