Abstract

The geognostic survey projected according to the geological and geomorphological superficial evidences has confirmed the landsliding of Montagnolo area; this is involved both by super­phicial flows, moving along the eluvial-colluvial sheets, and by a deep slide over the plio-pleistocenic basement. The numerous available data concern:lithology, microfossilifer and stratigraphic types, geothecnical and geophysical analyses, piezometrie and inclinometri e measurements.
