Abstract: In the Umbro-Marchean Apennines Ridge, Quaternary faults have been analyzed in order to define their outcrop­ping pattern, the geometry and kinematics of the faults, the amount of displacement and the geometrical relationship be­ tween Quaternary faults and the pre-existing Neogen􀀖 com­pressive structures (folds and thrus_ts). The faults s!udied 􀀗e arranged in three distinct zones of discrete deformation, mam­ly trending NNW-SSE and generally dipping WSW: Norcia­M. Fema, Cascia-M.
