IL SOLLEVAMENTO DELLA CROSTA NEL QUADRO DELLA TETTONICA DISTENSIVA POST- COLLISIONALE DELL'APPENNINO SETTENTRIONALE: NUOVI DATI DALL'AREA GEOTERMICA DI LARDERELLO (TOSCANA MERIDIONALE)

Abstract

Three different extensional events are recorded in the LardereHo geothermal field (southern Tuscany): the first oc­curred during early-middle Miocene (Burdigalian.-Langhian) and was associated with development of normai faults which terminate downward in late Triassic evaporite levels. During this event the Alpi Apuane core complex and the "serie ridot­ta" phenomenon developed. From the Serravallian to late Messinian, a second extensional event occurred.
