EVIDENZE DI ZONE DI TAGLIO N-S IN SABINA MERIDIONALE

Abstract

In order to define the geologica! setting of the I.G.M. "Palombara Sabina" Sheet area, a gravimetrie survey was carried out. The Bouguer and residua! isoanomalies were qualitatively interpreted for locating maximum gradient zones, having NNW-SSE or N-S direction, and probable dislocations which are present in the area. Then the isoanomalies distribution points out the presence of a number of almost parallel shear zones, strik­ing in a north-south direction.
