Abstract:	Two balanced cross sections across the E-verging compressive structures of the umbro-sabino sector of the Centrai Apennines thrust belt are presented in this paper, in order to provide a further geometrie and kinematic constraint to the Neogene evolution of the chain building. In detail, relationships between variations of compressive structural styles and orogenic shortening along the b-axis are investigated in function of mechanical stratigraphy changings. [...]
