| Abstract: | Recent geophysical studies curried out in the oceancontinent ttansition zone along several passive margin have stimulated a review of seismic reflection and refraction data available in the Tyrrhenian margin of Sardinia. From our interpretation it seems that the Cornaglia Tenace basement is the transitional area between the continental and oceanic crust of this margin. |
