PROBLEMI IDROGEOLOGICI RELATIVI AL RISANAMENTO DI UN'AREA DELLA PIANURA FIORENTINA INTERESSATA DA ESCAVAZIONE DI INERTI

Abstract

Tue flood plain between the Arno and Bisanzio rivers (Tuscany, Italy) interested by many sand and pabble quarries is ex­amined to suggest a more environmentally appropriate arragement. As in the area sporting ponds and basins are proposed, the authors take in consideration the possibility of this project and in­vestigate the problems relating to the flooding risk and to the water balance in the proposed area.
