Abstract: The aim of this paper is to illustrate on a map an exam­ple of a morphotectonic structure trasversal to the Apenni­nic Marche Ridge. The sequence and the spatial distribution of the geological and geomorphological features (marine or continental pleisto­cene deposits,erosional and depositional surfaces) allow a clear evaluation of times and values of the neotectonic deformations. The hydrographic network is strongly conditioned by the recent activity of trasversal faults and by the differentiated uplifts of antiapenninic morphostructures.
