Abstract: A structural map of Umbria-Marches fold belt and 15 geologie profiles interpreting the geometry of the whole sedimentary cover, starting from the botton of Calcare Massiccio, are given in this paper. After the definition of boundaries of the fold belt the main structures are described. They consist of: A - an internal strip, between the Tiber river and the apenninic ridge s.s., characterized by small anticlines of mesozoic rocks, normal-faulted in the western limb, emerging from the Marnoso-Arenacea flysch unit; B - the apenninic ridge where an internal anticlinorium, a median synclinorium and an external anticlinorium are distinguished; C -an external strip where small isolated anticlines of mesozoic rock rise from Gessoso-solfifera and Laga terrigenous formations; D -pliocenic fore-trough. Every such structural alignement makes a bend whose striyke is N 135 and N 160 respectively northward and southward of the transversal line of M. Subasio-M. MaggioCingoli-Conero. The vergence and the degree of deformation of such individualized southern element is much more marked than that of norther one.
