REPERTI LITICI DEL PALEOLITICO INFERIORE COME CONTRIBUTO ALLA DATAZIONE DELLE ALLUVIONI TERRAZZATE DEL FIUME ESINO (ANCONA)

Abstract

We analize the bifacies and the litic industries associated, found. on the quaternary terraces of the Valley of Esino River. We propose the attribution to the last phases of rissian glaciation for the industries of levallois facies. This artifacts have been found in fesiallitic soils that alter the terraces of the !'1 and IInd arder of the ancient authors. This soils are tipica! of warm climate with diffe­rentiated seasons that can cnincide with the Interglacial Riss­Wiirm. With this relations the top of terraces of the nnd arder can be attributed to the last phases of rissian glaciation.
