Abstract: The Realm of the Allochtonous Flysch in the Riff Chain (Marocco) consists of five allochtonous complexes: (I) Prédorsaliennes Units; (2) Maurétaniens Flysch; (3) Ride Taraquide; (4) Massyliens Flysch; (5) Nappe Numidienne. They overlie the external zones. The studied turbidite sequences both pertain to Maurétaniens Flysch (Nappe du Jebel Tisirène and Nappe des Beni Ider) and to the Nappe Numidienne (Unité de Talaa Lakra and Numidian Flysch s.s.). The various sequences can be grouped according to three main sequences: (a) calcareous turbidites with varicoloured argillites - marly-arenaceous-micaceous turbidites (some times containing slumps in their lower portion): thickening-upward sequences like Beni Ider and partly like Tisirène; (b) varicoloured argillites - quartzarenite turbidites with sandy claystones: sequences like Numidian Flysch; (c) varicoloured argillites (some times containing slumps) - marly-arenaceous-micaceous turbidites - quartzarenite turbidites with sandy claystones: «mixed» sequences like Talaa Lakra.
