LA DEGRADAZIONE DEI VERSANTI NEL BACINO DEL SENTINO (APPENNINO UMBRO-MARCHIGIANO)

Abstract

Tha main features of slope erosion due to surface waters and to superficial and deep mass movements are shown and cartographically represented on the basis of photo-interpretation and field surveys. Such mass move­ments have mostly been seen in tertiary formations and in their cover materials. In mesozoic formations, mainly calcareous, many ancient and even very large landslides, have been surveyed.
